Horse Riding School Gallops the 21st Century

It is hard to believe that a mere forty minute drive from the Sydney CBD lies one of the most authentic, and unique horse riding experiences set over a sprawling 360 hectare property amongst the bushlands of Denham Court for Sydneysiders to enjoy.

The Problem

With brief in hand, Skypoynt set out to research the best frameworks to build a simple and clean website experience that would give end users of the site the best experience possible. This included anlysis of various booking applications and how they best fit with the framework. 



The Solution

After researching the competitors in the market and having a good understanding of the needs of Scenic NSW Horse Riding Centre,  the Skypoynt team opted for a hybrid approach with Wordpress powering the front end CMS (Content Management System), VCita online booking and Google calendar scheduling system And Stripe providing online payment processing gateway.

The result was a simple clean, yet effective website experience responsive to all devices and importantly, resulted in Scenic’s revenue shifting to a stable pre-booked business model.

The Marketing Stack is a Foundation 5 powered, mobile responsive, Business Catalyst website. Leveraging custom developed web apps, Skypoynt delivered a site that boasts content personalisation capabilities using HTML Liquid rendering.

Throughout the discovery process, we also uncovered the frustration that was being felt by the VC Dental team in that the current website was not very easy to make changes, or add content too. This unfortunately can be a problem with Business Catalyst sites especially if the administration interface has not been customised to suit the clients needs.

To help out the VC team we spent some time understanding the specific areas of the site that they wanted to modify, and customised the administration experience to minimise exposure to code and maximise the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) components of the site.

By adopting a Growth Driven Design strategy for the VC Dental website, we were able to continue to improve the site experience after we had launched. Features have included

  • Emergency “what to do” widget for dental emergencies.
  • Front office team chat.
  • Practice location pages with Google maps integration.
  • Content personalisation.
